Chaz was raised in the foothills of Virginia (Farmville), then spent the next chapter of his life in Charleston—nearly 25 years of building relationships, building businesses, and building a reputation for truly outstanding service. Before real estate, his path was entrepreneurial in the truest sense: 12 years running an aquaculture farm, then expanding into the Charleston food scene, where he grew his sales experience and became deeply connected to local chefs, makers, and the community around them. After years in a city that started to feel louder, faster, and more crowded by the day, Chaz felt the pull to return to something more grounded—more spacious, more connected, and closer to nature. Asheville offered exactly what he was craving: a slower pace, outdoor access, and the kind of community where people still know their neighbors and care about where they live. And as anyone who’s felt the magic of these mountains knows… once the Blue Ridge gets in your system, it’s hard to imagine being anywhere else.
