Shipping and Returns
Eligible items can be returned within 7 days of delivery for a full refund.. If 7 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
All other items are FINAL SALE and will be noted in the product description. These items are not eligible to return. Please read carefully before purchasing. It is up to the buyer to ensure that the product will fit inside entry points upon delivery of the item including clearance for doorways, hallways, tight corners, etc. We will not be held responsible if the piece does not fit into the buyer’s home or space.
Shipping fees are non-refundable and return shipping fees are the buyer's responsibility. We suggest insuring and tracking your shipment as we will not be held accountable if anything should happen in transit. Abode makes every effort to credit your account within 10 business days from receipt date of your return. All credits are refunded in the same form of payment as on the original transaction.
Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Perishable goods such as food, plants, newspapers or magazines cannot be returned. We also do not accept products that are hazardous materials, or flammable liquids or gases. Gift cards cannot be returned.

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer. We will not be held responsible.
All items must be sent back in the original packaging. If original packaging is unavailable, the customer is responsible for arranging equivalent packaging. For all lighting and wallart, once it has been installed it cannot be returned.
Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
Refunds are only applicable for items purchased online.
In store Purchases:
In store purchases are final sale and can only be returned for in store credit. In Store purchase returns must be returned in same condition within 14 days of purchase for store credit only.
Sale items (if applicable)
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.
Exchanges (if applicable)

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.
If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Depending on where you live, determines the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
Furniture, Home Decor, Home Accents, Home Accessories:
Please be aware that many items ship directly from manufacturers and are ordered specifically for you. These items are drop shipped and not stocked by Abode. These are final sale items. Please contact us when your home item is purchased and we will provide you with an expected timeline for your delivery. These orders cannot be canceled or edited after 72 hrs. You will be contacted by a local delivery service when your item reaches the local carrier's warehouse. Large items may require curbside delivery or signature.
Orders shipped from Abode will be processed and shipped within 7 business days. Please note that orders are shipped Monday-Thursday. Once your order has shipped, you will receive a tracking number from us via email.
Please note that many of our items are handmade, imperfect, antique, and may slightly vary in color, finish, patina, or shape. Many of our items are unique, handsourced and these qualities are what make each item so special.
You are responsible for notifying us the same day for items that arrive damaged. We will require photos of the damaged items, the packaging, inside of packaging, outside of packing, and the item itself from 3-5 angles. You are required to furnish proof via photos mentioned above that the product was damaged on arrival. We cannot issue refunds or exchanges for items damaged after arrival. Contact us at email@example.com with photos of outside and inside of packaging, and of the item itself for review.
Once a damage claim is submitted, Abode will review, if Abode deems replacement is necessary, we will process that quickly. Please note that claims of this sort can take time to process. We have to submit and forward all claims and evidence to the carrier for approval before we can process your claim.
Abode is not responsible for packages marked as “delivered”. The customer resumes the responsibility of filing a claim with the carrier. Abode will always comply with the carrier/investigation to work towards a solution. If the carrier can not “find” the item once the investigation has concluded, Abode will offer a replacement if there is one. If a replacement is unavailable, a refund will be processed.
We are not liable for any shipping delays due to COVID-19.
